Opposition leader, KPCC President demand arrest of those who attacked Ms Leena’s house

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 2,  Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala and Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Mullappally Ramachandran on Wednesday demanded immediate police action against those who attacked the house of Youth Congress State Secretary Ms Leena at Mutthathara in this City.
Launching a scathing attack on CPI(M) for its continuous attack against Congress offices and party workers across the state for the last three days, the Congress leaders alleged that 142 Congress offices were attacked by the CPI(M) goons. Ms Leena and her daughter were injured when her house has been attacked by CPI(M) men at 0210 hrs this morning. The house of the Youth Congress State Secretary belongs to a backward class community, is a permanent target of local CPI (M) workers, the Congress leaders said after visiting the house of Ms Leena this morning.
Talking to newspersons here, Ms Leena said this was the fifth times that her house was attacked by the political opponents, who also hacked her brother earlier.
