Bengaluru, Sep 7 : Amid torrential rains in Bengaluru, delivery partners of FTH Daily, an initiative of FreshToHome, are enabling early morning deliveries to customers in rain-affected locations.
With the ongoing monsoon throwing life out of gear in many pockets of East Bengaluru, FTH Daily has strengthened its partner delivery fleet to ensure thousands of FTH Daily customers in these locations have uninterrupted access to daily nutritional essentials.
FTH Daily enables delivery of more than 10,000 orders per day across several locations in East Bengaluru and hundreds of families who are FTH Daily customers reside in some of the worst-hit areas like Bellandur, Marathalli, Munnekollal, Sarjapur, and surrounding locations.
To ensure delivery is not hampered, FTH Daily, through partner vendors, has leveraged its 1000 strong delivery partners deploying tractors in flooded areas where bikes and 3 wheelers cannot navigate through the water-laden roads.Commenting on the normalcy in timely delivery of orders, Shan Kadavil, Co-Founder, FreshtoHome, said, “Bengaluru has witnessed the highest rainfall of September and is said to be the city’s wettest September since 2014. It’s disheartening to see thousands of people stranded at home and on roads. We are in solidarity with all the citizens who are affected due to the continuous downpour. Aware of the inconvenience to people, FTH Daily has strengthened its delivery fleet to ensure our customers may not have to endure further discomfort without basic essentials like milk, vegetables, fruits, and groceries. Despite the heavy showers, our delivery partners are ready to serve the customers of FTH Daily.”
Widely popular for its sunrise delivery, FTH Daily has been instrumental in enabling the delivery of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables that are directly sourced from neighborhood farmers in Hoskote, Nanjangud, Ramanagara, Kanakapura, HD Kote, and other surrounding regions to Bengalureans before 7.30 am every day.
KN Sharath, a delivery executive, said, “We understand timely delivery of orders is a big relief to families who are stranded at homes. When families thank us for delivering their orders even when there’s heavy showers, we are deeply touched by their gesture. We are committed to delivering orders at the earliest hour, despite the challenges, and we will continue to do so even if the rain continues.”
