The Andhra Pradesh government is set to conduct its seventh Collectors Conference under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with a strong focus on governance, welfare delivery and administrative efficiency.

The two day conference will begin on May 7 at the State Secretariat in Amaravati. District collectors from across Andhra Pradesh, along with heads of departments and senior bureaucrats including chief secretaries, are expected to participate in the high level review meetings.

The conference comes shortly after the Chief Minister completed a series of district wise review meetings with public representatives, making the upcoming discussions particularly significant for the state administration.

Officials said the primary objective of the conference is to strengthen governance systems and closely monitor the implementation of development and welfare schemes across districts.

On the first day, collectors from four districts will give presentations on successful governance models and innovative administrative practices implemented in their respective regions. The government intends to encourage replication of effective ideas in other districts as well.

The second day of the conference will focus on reviewing key government initiatives and public welfare programs. Discussions are expected to cover topics such as Sanjeevani, Summer Action Plan, Super Six promises, welfare schemes and revenue administration.

Senior officials said the Chief Minister will personally review the progress of these programs and provide guidance to district administrations regarding future implementation strategies.

The conference is scheduled to run from 10 am to 6.30 pm on both days, with multiple review sessions and policy discussions planned throughout the event.

The state government believes the conference will help improve coordination between departments and strengthen delivery of services to the public at the district level.
