Inter Classes to Resume From June 1 for Students in AP and Telangana
Intermediate students in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will return to colleges from June 1 as both states begin the new academic year with updated schedules.

Intermediate students in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have received an important update as colleges are set to reopen from June 1 for the new academic year. While school students will resume classes later in June, Intermediate students will return to campuses earlier.
Summer holidays for Intermediate colleges had started on April 24 and are scheduled to conclude on May 31. Following the break, first and second year Intermediate students in both Telugu states will begin attending classes from the first day of June according to academic schedules released by education authorities.
In Andhra Pradesh, officials have already introduced the NCERT syllabus under the CBSE pattern for Intermediate education beginning with the academic year 2025 to 2026. The Intermediate Education Board has also released the academic calendar for 2026 to 2027, under which colleges are expected to function for a total of 232 working days.
Telangana had also released its academic calendar earlier for the 2026 to 2027 academic year. According to the schedule, Intermediate first and second year classes will begin at the start of June. The state has planned 224 working days for the academic year.
Admissions to Intermediate colleges are already progressing actively across both states as students prepare for the upcoming academic session.
School students in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will have a slightly longer summer break. Their holidays will end on June 11, and both government and private schools are expected to reopen from June 12.
