- Tirumala Re Entry helps devotees
- Re Entry reduces queue waiting
- Tirumala Darshan becomes easier
Devotees visiting Tirumala during the heavy summer rush are getting relief as Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has introduced a re entry facility for those standing in long darshan queues. The move is expected to reduce inconvenience and make the overall darshan experience smoother for pilgrims.
With the increasing crowd over the past few days, waiting hours inside queue lines and compartments have become longer. Keeping this in mind, officials decided to allow eligible devotees to temporarily leave the queue and return later without losing their place in the darshan process.
The facility is available only for devotees holding Sarva Darshan tokens. Pilgrims entering the queue line first need to submit Aadhaar details at Vaikuntham Two where they will receive a token from TTD authorities.
If devotees wish to step out, they can obtain a re entry pass near the seventeenth compartment and exit through the designated point after their token is scanned. This allows them to leave the waiting area and spend time elsewhere in Tirumala instead of remaining inside queue lines for several hours.
Pilgrims can use the time to visit nearby places, take rest in their allotted rooms or complete other activities before returning for darshan. However, they are advised to reach the re entry point around fifteen to twenty minutes before the time mentioned on their token.
Devotees returning for darshan need to enter through the W Four gate near the museum where the re entry center has been set up. Officials said the darshan process is expected to be completed within a few hours after rejoining the queue.
Authorities have also advised devotees to keep their tokens safe since lost tokens will not be accepted for re entry. Electronic items and mobile phones are also restricted during the process.
Meanwhile, devotional celebrations continue in Tirupati where the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple are being conducted with grand spiritual events attracting large numbers of devotees.
