Washington: At least three people were injured in a shooting at the Six Flags Great America amusement park in Gurnee, in the US state of Illinois, the theme park said. “This evening, three people were injured outside the park when shots were fired from a single vehicle. The vehicle immediately drove away. Park security and onsite Gurnee Police Department Substation officers responded immediately.

Two of the injured people were taken to the hospital, while the third person declined treatment. According to US media reports, the shooting occurred in the amusement park’s front entrance parking lot shortly before it was set to close at 8 p.m. local time (01:00 GMT on Monday). The theme park was evacuated.No one is in custody and police have not released any information on possible suspects.
