The Indian National Cinema Academy has officially announced the winners of the INCA Awards 2026 recognizing outstanding talent from films released last year across multiple Indian film industries. The prestigious awards continue to celebrate excellence in acting direction and technical achievements on a national platform.

Among the major highlights Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya has been selected as Best Actor for his impressive performance in Thandel. Rashmika Mandanna secured the Best Actress title for her role in The Girlfriend further strengthening her position as one of the leading performers in Indian cinema today. Both actors had earlier received recognition at the Telangana Gaddar Awards making this a significant double achievement at both state and national levels.

Director Anil Ravipudi has been honored with the Best Director award for Sankranthiki Vasthunnam showcasing his strong storytelling and commercial success. In the same film Master Revanth earned the Best Comedian award adding another feather to the film’s success.

In the Best Film category Mirai directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni and starring Teja Sajja emerged as the winner. The film also secured recognition for Best Visual Effects highlighting its technical excellence. Ram Jagadeesh was named Best Debut Director for Court marking a promising start to his filmmaking journey.

The awards span across twelve major Indian film industries including Telugu Tamil Hindi Kannada and Malayalam ensuring a wide representation of talent. From Tamil cinema Dulquer Salmaan Simran and Mari Selvaraj received top honors while Kannada film Kantara Chapter 1 dominated with multiple wins including Best Actor Best Actress Best Film and Best Director. Malayalam cinema also saw strong recognition with Nivin Pauly and Kalyani Priyadarshan among the winners.

In Hindi cinema Ranveer Singh was awarded Best Actor for Dhurandhar while Yami Gautam Dhar won Best Actress for Haq. The film Chhaava took the Best Film award and Aditya Dhar was recognized as Best Director.

The grand award ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 16 in Mumbai. The event will be hosted by Rana Daggubati and Karan Johar and is expected to witness the presence of several prominent film personalities including Rekha and Allu Aravind along with many winners and industry guests.

With winners across multiple languages and industries INCA Awards 2026 once again highlight the diversity and excellence of Indian cinema on a national stage.
