Hamirpur (HP), Dec 20 : Senior BJP leader and Former HP Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said on Tuesday that the Sukhu government of Himachal has strongly opposed the denotification of several offices of the Electricity Board, including 10 electrical divisions, six operation circles and 17 sub-divisions.
The decision of the state government to close down “all the institutions one by one shows the complete dictatorial behaviour of the government,” he said.
Jai Ram Thakur in a statement released by the party here on Tuesday said all these divisions and sub-divisions were properly opened in which board meetings and approvals and all permissions from the government were taken. “This attitude of the Sukhu government is very sad and absurd. BJP opposes and will oppose all these decisions; we will also go to court against it”, he said.
He said the state government is working with a sense of revenge and is doing politics on all the public interest decisions taken by our government.
BJP State President Suresh Kashyap also charged the Chief Minister of working against the set principles of democracy and doing nothing except to reverse the decisions taken by the previous BJP government of the state.
He alleged that the Congress party government also closed the first office of the Shiva Project located in Dharampur and called all the employees of that office to Shimla, along with this the Center of Excellence was also closed. “This clearly shows that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has no concern for the public interest; he is only worried about reversing the good works of the BJP” he said. He said during the tenure of the BJP, it was never seen that the area was governed by which party, but only the purpose of development of the entire Himachal Pradesh was the focus of the BJP. “Today, seeing this behaviour of the leaders of the Congress party, there are discussions of criticism in the public as well, which will gradually become known. The Chief Minister is not even able to make himself a minister and is troubling the public by doing such type of politics,” he further said.
