A young judicial officer from Delhi was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in the Green Park area of South Delhi, prompting a detailed police investigation. The 30 year old judge, Aman Kumar Sharma, was discovered hanging inside his home on Saturday.
Police officials said they received a call in the afternoon from a relative, after which a team rushed to the spot. Upon arrival, officers had to break open a bathroom door where Sharma was found unresponsive. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had already passed away.
Initial findings suggest a case of suicide, though authorities have not ruled out other possibilities. Aman Kumar Sharma had joined the Delhi Judicial Services in 2021 and was serving as a key official at the Karkardooma Court. He is survived by his wife and two children.
