Boycott of lawyers’ duties

The South India times Nizamabad: The lawyers boycotted their duties from 16th to 18th to protest against the attacks on them and demanded that the Advocate Protection Act be brought against them. On this occasion, the President of the Nizamabad Association, Erram Ganapati, and Secretary Narender Reddy said that incompetent politicians are running in the country to protect the lawyers who fight for justice in society and demand that this policy should be changed and expressed concern that he was going to be killed. He said that lawyers are in a situation where their lives are being put on the streets by risking their lives in the line of duty. He demanded that the governments that could not bring a protection law for lawyers in a 75-year-old independent country should self-criticize. He said that if the attack on advocates continues, these movements will take a more serious form and protests will be raised. Members of the Bar Association, various officials, and lawyers participated in this program and were informed that these protests will be held tomorrow as well.
