Chiranjeevi to Receive NTR National Award at Gaddar Film Awards 2025
Telangana government announces Gaddar Film Awards 2025 with Chiranjeevi receiving NTR National Award while several Telugu films actors and technicians earn recognition for achievements in cinema.

The Telangana government has announced the winners of the Gaddar Film Awards 2025 recognising outstanding contributions to cinema. The awards honour films released during the year and celebrate achievements across various categories in the Telugu film industry.
Megastar Chiranjeevi will receive the prestigious NTR National Award in recognition of his remarkable contribution to Indian cinema. Veteran actress Jayasudha has been selected for the ANR Award while legendary actor Kamal Haasan will be honoured with the Paidi Jairaj Award. Film producer Ashwini Dutt will receive the Nagireddy Chakrapani Award.
The awards ceremony will be held on March nineteen on the occasion of Ugadi. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will present the awards during the grand event.
Among the feature film categories the film Raju Weds Rambhai has been selected as the Best Film while Dandora secured the second position and The Great Pre Wedding Show received the third best film recognition.
Actor Naga Chaitanya has been named Best Actor for his performance in the film Thandel. Actress Rashmika Mandanna won the Best Actress award for her role in The Girlfriend.
Director Sailu has been chosen as Best Director for the film Raju Weds Rambhai. In the supporting categories actor Shivaji received the Best Supporting Actor award while actress Bhumika was honoured as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Euphoria.
The film Thandel also received the award for Best Feature Film on National Integration while the film Court won the Best Social Message Film award. Sankranthiki Vasthunnam was named the Best Popular Film.
Other technical awards were also announced across several departments. Mark Robin won the Best Music Director award for Dandora while singer Anurag Kulkarni received Best Male Singer recognition for a song from Raju Weds Rambhai. Sahithi was selected as Best Female Singer for Kannappa.
In the writing and technical categories Gunasekhar was honoured as Best Story Writer for Euphoria while Anil Ravipudi won Best Screenplay for Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Nandakishore received the Best Lyricist award for Kubera.
Cinematographer Karthik Ghattamaneni won the Best Cinematographer award for Mirai while veteran editor Sreekar Prasad received the Best Editor award for the same film.
The awards also recognised literature and film criticism related to cinema. Author Prabhu was honoured for the best cinema book titled Shoonyam Nundi Shikharagralaku while H Ramesh Babu was named Best Film Critic.
The Gaddar Film Awards continue to celebrate creativity and excellence in cinema while highlighting the achievements of actors filmmakers and technicians who shape the Telugu film industry.
