Modi acknowledged that India depends on imports for nearly 60 percent of its LPG requirements. However, he emphasized that domestic production is being ramped up and priority is being given to ensure that citizens do not face disruptions in access to petrol diesel and gas.
The Prime Minister noted that the conflict in West Asia over the past three weeks has had a significant impact on global economies and everyday life. He said India is actively engaging with international partners to minimize the effects and maintain economic stability.
On the safety of Indians abroad, Modi said the government has been closely monitoring the situation and providing continuous support. So far, around 3.75 lakh Indian citizens have been brought back safely from the Gulf region since the conflict began.

The Prime Minister reiterated that while the global situation remains uncertain, India is well prepared to manage challenges and safeguard the interests of its citizens.
