Flash floods kill 5 in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province

Kabul August 17: Five persons including three children and two adults were confirmed dead after a passenger bus was trapped in a flash flood in Afghanistan’s eastern Ghazni province on Monday, the state-run Bakthar news agency reported Tuesday. Quoting provincial government official Mawlawi Habibullah Mujahid, the state-controlled news agency reported that the ill-fated bus was heading towards Gilan district late Monday when it was trapped in a flash flood, which resulted in the death of five persons.
