Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said people want a powerful, development-oriented NDA government at the Centre. Addressing a mammoth public meeting in support of the BJP’s Warangal and Mahabubabad Lok Sabha candidates Aroori Ramesh and Dr Seetharam Naik respectively at Lakshmipuram, Modi said the participation of people in the campaign reflects the mood of Telangana.

Orugallu is the sacred ground where the Kakatiyas ruled, Modi said. Our victory was finalized in the elections held in the first three phases. A microscope is needed to see how many seats Congress will get. In my view, Warangal is very important, BJP flag was hoisted in Hanumakonda 40 years ago.

Stating that people of Warangal are supporting BJP every time, he hoped this time both Warangal and Mahabubabad seats will be won by the party’s Aroori Ramesh and Seetharam Naik.

“Do you want India to develop? Do you want your children to have a bright future?” Modi asked people. The power of the country should not fall into the wrong hands, he said.
