In a significant administrative reform, the Telangana government has rolled out the Integrated Bhu Bharati portal on a pilot basis in five mandals starting Thursday. The initiative is expected to transform land related services and offer long term solutions to persistent land disputes.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced that the portal will initially be implemented in select mandals including Kusumanchi in Khammam district, Aswaraopeta in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Amangal in Rangareddy, Vatpally in Sangareddy, and Kosgi in Narayanpet district. The pilot phase will help the government assess its effectiveness before expanding it statewide.

The minister described the initiative as a major step toward reforming the revenue system. He explained that the portal has been designed to integrate land records, survey processes, and registration services under a single platform, making it easier for citizens to access services without delays or confusion.

According to officials, the main objective of the Bhu Bharati portal is to ensure transparency and simplify procedures for farmers. By reducing dependency on physical visits to service centers, the platform allows users to access land related services directly from their homes, saving time and effort.

During a teleconference with revenue officials, the minister emphasized the importance of implementing the portal with a farmer first approach. He instructed officials to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to farmers and that the system remains user friendly and accessible to all sections.

District collectors have been directed to closely monitor the functioning of the portal during the pilot phase. The government plans to introduce improvements based on feedback and performance before taking the initiative to a larger scale.

Officials believe that this digital platform could mark the beginning of a lasting solution to land disputes in Telangana. With proper execution and continuous updates, the Integrated Bhu Bharati portal is expected to bring greater efficiency, transparency, and trust in land administration across the state.
