Among the top items is approval for the construction of twin towers in the Amaravati Quantum Valley, with an estimated cost exceeding Rs 1200 crore. The cabinet is also likely to greenlight large scale works related to the Secretariat, General Administration Department, and Head of Departments towers, including facade and structural finishing projects.
Significant spending is also proposed for the Assembly building, where multiple civil works are planned to enhance infrastructure. Alongside these, the Capital Region Development Authority proposals will be taken up for final clearance, indicating a renewed push to accelerate development in the capital region.
Infrastructure upgrades in LPS Zone eleven are also on the agenda. Plans include improving roads, drainage systems, water supply, and sewage networks. The cabinet is expected to approve the rerouting of 220 kilovolt power lines, which is considered essential for planned urban expansion.
Farmer related decisions are likely to feature prominently as well. The government may revise annuity and pension rules for farmers in second phase LPS villages. Proposals to increase lease payments for both dry and irrigated lands, along with annual increments over the next decade, are also expected to be approved.
Land allocation decisions form another crucial part of the meeting. Several institutions and organizations are set to receive land in Amaravati, including financial and educational entities. Allocations for public services such as fire department facilities are also under consideration.
The cabinet is also expected to formally acknowledge the recognition received by Chandrababu Naidu as Business Reformer of the Year 2025. After addressing the official agenda, the Chief Minister is likely to hold discussions with ministers on current political developments and pressing issues, including fuel supply concerns in the state.
With multiple high value decisions on the table, today’s cabinet meeting is expected to play a key role in shaping the next phase of Amaravati’s development and governance priorities.
