The South India times Jagtial: District Collector G.Ravi said that the Kavi Sammelan was organized as part of the independent India Vajrotsavam on the occasion of India’s 75th anniversary. He was the chief guest at the Kavi Sammelanam program organized at Devi Sri Gardens on Bypass Road. On this occasion, he said that in view of the completion of 75 years of independence of the country, CM KCR decided to organize the Vajrotsava celebrations in a grand manner, and as part of that, a poet’s gathering program was organized on topics like patriotism and national security.
He said that every application received for the Kavi Sammelanam was thoroughly examined. The Telugu and Urdu poets who participated in the Kavi Sammelanam program expressed the country’s privacy through their poems.
