The South India times Nizamabad: Nizamabad Sessions Judge Sunitha Kunchala on Wednesday day sentenced grandson Komir e Gangadhar to life imprisonment for murdering 80-year-old grandmother Komire LakshmiLakshmi of Mendora village in Bhingal Mandal had three sons, the youngest son Bhumanna died and his son Gangadhar used to live in a separate room in his house. Every day he used to get drunk and argue with her, he told her not to drink alcohol and not to quarrel, he cut the electricity supply wire to her house thinking that she would trouble him, on 29th February 2020, he deliberately killed my grandmother by hitting her face with bricks and wood while she was sleeping in the afternoon.
Lakshmi’s son drove the Komire and complained to the GangaramBhingal station house officer. As part of the trial, the court recorded the testimony of the witnesses, studied the corroborating documents and physical objects and declared the accused Gangadhar guilty of murder, and sentenced him to life imprisonment and a fine of two thousand. Public prosecutor Pidugu Ravi Raju conducted the prosecution on behalf of the police.
