Ather Energy opens first Experience Centre in Salem

Chennai: Ather Energy, India’s leading electric scooter manufacturer, strengthened its retail presence in Tamil Nadu today by opening a new Experience Centre (EC) in Salem district. It was located at Omalur Main Road, Kurangusavadi in Salem. With the inauguration of the EC in Salem, Ather Energy now has nine retail stores in Tamil Nadu.
The new retail outlet will retail the new and improved Gen-3 variant of the flagship 450 Series. The new EC, inaugurated in association with Suryabala Group, aims to educate consumers about the engineering and mechanical efforts that go into the manufacturing of the EV, thus offering an interactive space that aims to inform them about every aspect of the vehicle and provide a complete overview of all components.
Ather Space will provide a unique ownership experience along with complete service and support for the owners, a company release said. Speaking on the occasion, CompanyChief Business Officer Ravneet Singh Phokela said “Ather Energy has experienced an encouraging response from across the state of Tamil Nadu for its scooters. With a high rate of EV adoption and growing acceptance for high end electric two-wheelers, Tamil Nadu is an important market for Ather Energy.” “We have created an electric vehicle that is efficient, high quality and reliable, from the ground up and have invested strategicallyin the infrastructure needed to support it”, he said. “We have been expanding rapidly to fulfill the demand for the new and improved Ather 450X and have some exciting plans for Tamil Nadu”, he added.
