Automation ExpoSouth to be held in Chennai from April 26

Chennai: The first edition of Automation ExpoSouth, an event on automation and digitisation in the industry would be held in the city later this month, looking to tap the strong industrial base in Tamil Nadu. The Automation ExpoSouth has been conducted in Mumbai over the last few years. The maiden edition of Automation ExpoSouth would be held in Chennai between from April 26 to 28 at the Chennai Trade Centre here, IED Communications Ltd said in a press release on Sunday.
It is the brainchild of the visionary Dr. M. Arokiaswamy started in 2002 as a biennial Automation exhibition which attracted the top Global Automation diaspora to the Indian shores. Since 2011, this has become an annual Automation extravaganza. It has become Asia’s leading Automation & Instrumentation exhibition and a must-visit for any stakeholder in the Automation industry. Now in the 19th year of a successful journey, Automation Expo has believed in the true potential of India and contributed hugely through uncanny foresight and sheer hard work.
