Student of Kasiga School, Dehradun, Hitesh Ram Yadav Nallaboina scored 94.3% marks in Humanities stream in the CBSE Class XII examination, the results of which were announced on Monday.
The school management congratulated Nallaboina and also Mansi Sharma, Commerce, 96.8%, and Mahi Tyagi, Science topper with 91% score.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced the results of the Class 12 exams, revealing a slight increase in the pass percentage from 87.33 per cent last year to 87.98 per cent this year.
The number of students scoring above 90 per cent and 95 per cent marks also saw a significant rise, with an increase of more than 1,400 and 4,000 students, respectively, compared to the previous year.
