Miss India Asia-Pacific 2017 Runner-up Sudha Jain promotes handlooms

Miss India Asia-Pacific 2017 Runner-up Sudha Jain has appealed to the government to popularise handlooms to encourage the present generation of weavers to continue their traditional occupation. Speaking at a press conference conducted by Kohinoor, Sudha Jain said handlooms not only help the weavers community by improving their economic status, but also promote sustainability in the clothing industry.

Sudha Jain is the brand face of C-MEA handcrafted jewellery, Shree Panduranga Handlooms (Ikat manufacturer), Bhoodan Pochampally in Telangana. She is a strong supporter of handlooms. 

National celebrity Ms Jain is the jury member for Art & Culture and brand ambassador for Srimati Telangana.
