The Premia Academy organizes Nutrition Week 2022

Hyderabad: The Premia Academy, a new-day educational institution that offers a transformational education to its students, organized week-long celebrations to commemorate “Indian Nutrition Week”. The events were aimed at spreading the message of health & well-being of students and were curated around the theme “Celebrate World of Flavors”.

The session was attended by students & parents and it helped them in gaining knowledge and experience. The Premia Academy organized this workshop in collaboration with Next Mile, a platform founded by Bhargavi Reddy that heightens the quality of kids’ lives and their future goals. The session was presided over by Dr. Samatha Tulla, a renowned doctor of Internal Medicine who is also specialized in weight management, hormonal health, and disease reversal. Dr. Samatha is a physician and a seasoned expert in anti-aging and longevity. Overall, the nutrition week covered a variety of subjects and problems relating to food that are essential for students in the twenty-first century.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Samatha Tulla said, “’Eat a balanced diet,’ is a typical piece of nutrition advice given all across the world. This appears to be a simple concept yet this is a lot more difficult than it used to be especially since we live in times where complex medical terminology like carbohydrates, fibers, and omega-3 fatty acids are prevalent. As a developer and creator of individualized and customized treatment strategies for people who suffer from lifestyle and chronic metabolic illnesses, I believe children will be the mascot to promote nutrition as the primary knowledge one should have and spread it across the community for a progressive society.

Additionally, Ms. Sindhuri Reddy, Founder, of The Premia Academy said, “With the motive to intensify awareness on the importance of nutrition for health, we are organizing various activities to imbibe good nutrition habits amongst the children. The week began with various competitions with a primary motive to drive awareness toward healthy, nutritious, and adaptive eating habits with a happy lifestyle. In addition, Ms. Bhargavii Reddy (Conscious Parenting Advocate) addressed issues like fussy eating and food alternatives. The session was very helpful to parents and equipped them with knowledge that is based on new scientific research. The Primary sections learned about various sugars and sugar replacements as well as different world cultures and how they balance their plates with a variety of foods. On the effects of sugar on our bodies, they conducted some trials. The older groups
were taught bodily awareness.
