CM meets Abhijit Banerjee to discuss key issues pertaining to Delhi’s economy

New Delhi Jul 23 Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met with Nobel Laureate Professor Abhijit Banerjee on Friday and discussed key issues pertaining to Delhi’s economy, employment & water security. According to a statement issued by the AAP government in the national capital, they explored possibilities of mutual support and collaboration upon the mission of taking Delhi forward. Kejriwal and Prof Banerjee exchanged ideas of generating more employment in Delhi
by setting up innovation clusters in existing industrial areas of the national capital. At the same time, the CM expressed his willingness to document his government’s work in healthcare and education as models for governments across India and the world to adopt for the greater good of society, read a statement During the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia and Dialogue and Development Commission of Delhi Vice Chairperson Jasmine Shah was also part of the meeting. Banerjee is the Director of Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (JPAL), a global research center.
