NEW DELHI, JULY 13 (UNI) The BJP on Wednesday slammed former vice presi- dent Hamid Ansari and the Congress over the claims of a Pakistani journalist that he had visited India five times during UPA tenure and shared sensitive in- formation collected during his visits with Pakistan’s spy agency ISI. Address- ing a press conference here at party headquarters, BJP Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that, “People of India are giving you so much respect and you are betraying the country. Isn’t this treason? Sonia Gandhi, Rahul and Hamid Ansari should come out and reply to this”.

But on the other hand the Congress party has been to weaken the country”. He added that the people of India are upset with Congress and asking them that …is that was the policy of the Con- gress government to end terrorism?”.

He alleged that “ Con- gress was sharing the most secret things of the coun- try with other countries, which they were using for terrorism. That is why the people of the country are social media in which, Pakistani journalist Nus- rat Mirza has claimed in an interview that he had visited India several times allegedly on Ansari’s invi- tation and that the former vice president had shared extremely sensitive and classified information with him which he passed on to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

And the Congress govern- ment invites such a person to come to India five times between 2005-11, confi- dential information of the integrity of the country upset today.” In video on country is shared” he said.
