Felicitation Program organized by the Telugu Association in the hounour of Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu

Former Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu, as part of his four-day visit to Dubai, graced the Felicitation Program organized by the Telugu Association in his honour at the Consulate General Auditorium on January 3 evening.The President of the Telugu Association Mr. Dinesh Kumar Uggina gave a welcome address. Consul General of India in Dubai Dr. Aman Puri appreciated the services rendered by Venkaiah Naidu to the country and society. Tadu Mamu and other CGI staff participated in the program.
Venkaiah Naidugaru said that one should never forget one’s Mother, birth place, motherland, mothertongue and the teachers who teach them. Mother tongue is like the eyes of a person,whereas other languages are like spectacles, he urged all to preserve their mother tongue, traditional dressing, attire, accent, slang, culture and traditions. He said that In India, women have been given a special status since Vedic age. He urged to protect, educate and encourage the girl child (betibachavo, betipadhavo and betibadhavo) as per the initiative taken by our dear Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
He said that the world is moving forward at a rapid pace. our India is a land of expertise, intelligence and honesty, and with determination, determination, perseverance and hard work, India is going to emerge again as a Viswaguru.
He said that India has the upper hand in the fields of technology, culture, spirituality and science and the whole world is now looking towards India. He said that the country and civilizations should march ahead without forgettingpast history and roots. He gave the message that everyone should work together for the well-being of themselves, their family, their community, region, state and country.
Venkaiah Naidu especially praised the services of the Telugu Association for bringing together the Telugu people from both the states in UAE and preserving the Telugu culture in a foreign country.
