Dharamsala: The double-engine government of the state and the center has set a new record of development on the strength of its commitment and has established Himachal as the leading state of the country. This remark was expressed by the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday at Dadasiba in Jaswan Pragpur constituency in Kangra district as the chief guest at the 75 years celebrations of the establishment of Progressive Himachal.
He said that only with the active cooperation of all citizens, India would move toward becoming a global superpower under the leadership of Modi. He said that the way India prepared two anti-corona vaccines within nine months under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is a great example of India changing all over the world.
He said that Himachal has become the first state in the country to provide both doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine to all people. He said that the then Congress government at the Center had also withdrawn the special industrial package given to Himachal by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Now Narendra Modi has given a huge gift to Himachal by restoring the 90:10 ratio of Centre-State in the developmental projects.
