BJP chief, JP Nadda Saturday exhorted the people, to follow new customs and thereby help the BJP to form its stable government in the state for the second time in succession.
While addressing election meetings at Baihna Jattan, Nauwa Rajpura and Patwarkhana Kotla in he appealed for the formation of a double-engine BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji dedicated to the development of Himachal Pradesh.
Having a dig at the Congress party, Nadda said that the people of Himachal Pradesh have already made up their minds to change the customs in the state and again to form a double-engine BJP government as the Congress always showed dreams of false promises but BJP does what it says.He said,” BJP always works for the empowerment of villages, poor, farmers, Dalits, tribals, backward, youth, and women but Congress only works for the betterment of one family. We have only one basic mantra – Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Efforts, but the core mantra of Congress is corruption and commission”. The BJP chief said that the people of Himachal say that the number of times respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has come to Himachal Pradesh in the last 8 years, no other non-BJP Prime Minister could come here even in 60 years of Congress government. “Whenever there is a need for Himachal, our Prime Minister has stood for the state. Congress has always betrayed the people of Himachal Pradesh”.
He alleged that the UPA government of Congress not only took away the special category status from Himachal Pradesh but also withdrew the industrial package given by the revered Atal Ji. Does this tell what Congress thinks about Himachal Pradesh? He said,” The Virbhadra government of Congress did not even provide land for the proposed railway line to Leh, though it was very important for the security of the country. It is the Jai Ram Thakur government of BJP which provided the land for the railway line and the work of laying the track started”.

Underlining the development works done in Himachal Pradesh by the double-engine BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Nadda said that today AIIMS has been built in Bilaspur at a cost of about 1500 crore rupees, 6 medical colleges have been built, hydro An engineering college has been built, Una has got the gift of a bulk drug park, a medical device park is being built in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh has been connected by Vande Bharat train and much higher education institutions have also opened in Himachal Pradesh.

Nadda said that in the Congress government, people were being duped, which means false promises of development were shown but development did not take place. For the first time, the general public felt that a working government had come at the center which was working for the common people of the country.

Worrying that no one should go hungry during the Corona period, the respected Prime Minister started PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, under which free ration is being provided to about 80 crore people in the country for about two and a half years. With the aim of empowering farmers, the Prime Minister has started PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, under which about 11 crore farmers of the country are being given six thousand rupees directly in their accounts every year.

He said that in the 8 years of the Modi government, more than two crore poor houses have been built in the country and every house has been provided with electricity, water, gas, and toilets the central government had also protected the countrymen from the Covid epidemic by applying about 219 crore vaccine doses.
