Martyrs remembered on Kargil Vijay Diwas in Shimla

Shimla, July 26 (UNI) A special program was organized on Tuesday to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas in Shimla, where Himachal Pradesh’s Urban Development Minister, Suresh Bhardwaj honored the families of the heroes and martyrs who won the Kargil war. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated across the country on this day. 23 years ago on July 26, 1999, the brave soldiers of India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan and drove out the Pakistani intruders. On this occasion, Suresh Bhardwaj said, “Every year on this special day, the brave sons of the country are remembered. The brave soldiers of India had defeated the infiltrators of Pakistan on this day.”
