Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party National President J P Nadda launched a scathing attack on the Telangana Rashtra Samithi rule terming it as autocratic. Addressing a well-attended public meeting in Warangal marking the conclusion of the state TRS president Bandi Sanjay’s padayatra christened as “Praja Sangrama Yatra”, he said the state did not make any progress under the TRS regime.
He said that the government tried to stop this public meeting but thanks to the High Court’s permission, The meeting was on. The BJP chief charged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was acting like “naya Nizam. “Mr. Nadda alleged that the Chief Minister had resorted to a huge corruption in the Kaleshwaram project charging that democracy was captive now in the state.
To remove Telangana from the clutches of dictatorship, family, and corrupt rule of the TRS government, Bandi Sanjay has taken up Praja Sangrama Yatra. Elaborating details of funds sanctioned to Telangana by the Centre, Nadda said the Centre has sanctioned 3,500 crores to the state under Jal Jeevan Mission, but only Rs 200 crore was spent by the Telangana Government. The TRS government demolished Warangal Jail in the name of constructing a MultiSpecialty Hospital but it has yet to be constructed.
