The South India times Nizamabad: National Unity Rakshabandhan programs were celebrated across the district on Friday as a part of independent India’s Diamond Festival. The festival of Rakshabandhan has been given more importance by combining the Rakshasi full moon celebration with the Vajrotsava celebrations, which expresses the sense of brotherhood.

People who celebrated Rakshabandhan by valuing Indian culture and traditions celebrated Vajrotsavam and expressed national unity, this time they used Rakhis with three colors as a symbol of the tricolor flag. As the sister and younger sister put Rakhis on their brother’s wrists, the brothers assured them that they will always be protected as a witness of this festival. In the background of the Rakshabandhan celebration, many people reached the Collectorate and congratulated District Administrator C Narayana Reddy by tying rakhis.
