New Delhi: A jubilant Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the party-led coalitions retaining power in all the three north-eastern states – Tripura, Nagaland, and Meghalaya – went ballistic to take on the Opposition, especially the Congress, which almost decimated from every part of the country, that he cares a damn their abuses hurled at him, but believe the Indian electorate, who wanted him to win state after the state and take the nation to greater heights.
Addressing the party workers, which has become a traditional affair after every major poll, at the party headquarters, Prime Minister reminded the Oppositions jibes like “marja Modi” and “Khabar Khudega” and responded in his style saying that “people want me not to go as they say “Modi ji math jao” and “kamal khilega’.
Amidst chanting of Modi-Modi by party workers, he said the north-eastern state electorate, who were neglected by the Congress at the Centre for the last 60 years, are seeing the phenomenal developmental activities which ensure “ashta Lakshmis” (eight north-eastern states) getting connected by road and air as never before.
“Today, it is not difficult for anyone to make a hassle-free journey from one state to another. He had also asked party workers present to thank the electorate of three north-eastern states by waving their torchlights of cell-phones.
