- Two thousand rupees will be credited through DBT.
- eKYC completion is mandatory for payment eligibility.
Farmers across the country may soon receive fresh financial support as the central government prepares to release the 22nd installment under the PM Kisan scheme. Officials indicate that payments are likely to be credited before the end of February through the direct benefit transfer system.
Under the scheme eligible farmers receive two thousand rupees per installment directly into their bank accounts. Previous releases suggest that the government usually disburses funds during the final week of February and similar timing is expected this time as well.
Authorities have reiterated that completion of eKYC is mandatory to receive the installment. Farmers with pending verification will not receive the payment until the process is updated. Beneficiary lists are also being revised regularly to remove ineligible names.
Farmers can check their eligibility and payment status by visiting the official PM Kisan portal and entering their registration details. The website and mobile app also allow users to track installment status within seconds.
