Goa: Goa police have arrested one more person in connection with the Sonali Phogat murder case, taking the number of persons arrested so far to five. Rama alias Ramadas Mandrekar was arrested on Saturday night for allegedly supplying drugs to Dattaprasad Gaonkar, who was arrested earlier, a senior police official said.
Those who have been arrested to date are Sudhir Sagwan, Sukhwinder Wasi, Edwin Nunes, Dattaprasad Gaonkar, and Ramadas Mandrekar. BJP leader and actor Sonali, who hailed from Hisar in Haryana, was brought dead to a private hospital in Anjuna on August 23
