CPI to support TRS in Munugode assembly by-poll: Narayana

Tirupati: With its motto to oppose the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), the Communist Party of India (CPI) is all set to support the Telangana Rashtra Samit hi (TRS) in the by-elections for the Munugode Assembly seat, said CPI national secretary Dr. K Narayana. Addressing a press conference at the CPI office here on Sunday, he said though his party had no political links with the TRS party, the CPI was supporting the TRS as the by-poll was a motivated political design of BJP leadership and even as the sitting MLA Rajago pal Reddy was pushed to resign from the seat after he joined the BJP, in order to display its political domination in the region. He castigated that the Munugode by-election was an outcome of the high drama by the BJP high command consisting of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
