Amaravati: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema next Monday and Tuesday, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.

In a bulletin here, it said that a thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema in the next five days.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places or at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the same period.

Heavy rain occurred at one or two places in the Kurnool district of Rayalaseema in the last 24 hours. Rain occurred at many places in Rayalaseema, at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and dry weather prevailed in Yanam of Puducherry) during the same period, the bulletin added.
