Tirumala, 11 Sept: All departments in TTD are gearing up to organize the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams in Tirumala this year in a big manner, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy. Before taking calls from pilgrims during the Dial your EO program held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday, the EO informed pilgrim devotees about the ongoing arrangements for the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams and various other development activities taken up by TTD.
The traditional fete of Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam will be observed ahead of Srivari Brahmotsavam on September 20, from morning 6 am to 11 am.
The Ankurarpanam fete will be held on the night of September 26 between 7pm and 8pm.
On the first day, September 27th evening the Dwajarohanam will be observed and later at night 9pm and 11pm the first Vahana Seva of Pedda Sesha vahana is held on Mada streets.
On the same day, the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy will present Pattu Vastrams on behalf of the State Government to Srivari temple.
After a gap of 2 years (due to Corona restrictions) all vahana sevas will be held in holy Mada streets daily mornings, between 8am and 10am) and in the evening between 7pm and 9pm.
While on Garuda Seva on October 1, the Garuda Vahanam will be carried out from 7pm onwards till 1am or 2am next day till every devotee witnesses the grandeur of Srivaru on His favourite Vahanam.
All Arjita sevas and privileged Darshans cancelled.
With regard to accommodations, TTD has decided to increase the online quota to 50% availability. In view of limited rooms at Tirumala, devotees requested to take rooms at Tirupati for night halts.
ANNA PRASADAM DISTRIBUTION:
During normal days Anna Prasadam distribution at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Bhavan is from morning 9am and 11pm.
However, during Brahmotsavam Anna Prasadam distribution will be from morning 8am and 11.30 pm.
On the Garuda Vahana day it will be till 1.00 am in early morning of next day.
1342 SV TEMPLES CONSTRUCTION UNDER SRIVANI TRUST
As part of its mandate for Sanatana Hindu dharma propagation TTD has taken up a mission to construct 1342 Sri Venkateshwara temples in SC/ST/BC/ and Fishermen hamlets in coordination with Samarasata Seva Foundation across AP and Telangana.
So far 652 open heart surgeries have been carried out in SP Hridayalaya giving new lease of life to many infants.
Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams to take forward all Arjita Sevas to the doorsteps of devotees at different cities. Successfully conducted in Nellore between August 16 and 20 and will be conducted in Hyderabad between October 11 and 15.
