Anvayaa conducts G’OLD’en Days for elders this festive season

Date:

Hyderabad: December 26th, 2022: Anvayaa, India’s first and only IoT and AI tech-based 3600 personalized elderly care platform organized ‘GOLDen days’ a series to help elders fulfill their long cherished desires, or pursue a hobby with a group of like-minded members of Anvayaa. The initiative ‘Golden Days’ by Anvayaa was started by the care coordinator team to bring cheer to the life of elders this festive season, who otherwise deal with loneliness and lack of companionship due to the busy lifestyle and absence of their family. The Care Compassion Managers acted as proxies of the family and helped elders enjoy this festive season – by fulfilling their wishes with Anvayaa. As a part of the ‘Golden Days’ activity, the care coordinator team mapped out the requests of the elders and planned the execution with the involvement of the Care Compassion Managers. The activities ranged from taking an elderly couple to temples, parks for a walk and picnic, movies, shopping malls, art galleries, etc. with the comfort of having a Care Manager around to help and facilitate their visit, and being a part of their celebration.
According to Mr & Mrs. Rameshwar, “Anvayaa has been assisting in taking care of us for almost a year now. Since my kids moved overseas, We’ve been living alone for a good while. Fortunately, a friend of mine recommended Anvayaa. My experience with Anvayaa has been extremely enjoyable and delightful because a full-time, dedicated Care Manager would visit me on a regular basis. The care manager helps in getting me with the grocery shopping and occasionally takes us on outings to coffee shops and tiffin centers where we love to spend time. Even at our advanced age, he assisted us in scheduling our outside medical care, managing doctor appointments, pharmacy refills, etc. helping our kids be free from all worry. To our surprise, he asked if we would like to visit Shilparamam to experience the art and craft on display last week. We were thrilled with the idea. He organized everything and took us to the abhisheka which I wanted to do for over a decade. This felt like our son was with us for this trip, God Bless him and team Anvayaa”
In some communities, Anvayaa organized a community gathering and planned a host of activities for fun while informing elders of small activities/ exercises to be done to help them move independently and prevent a fall. Anvayaa’s care coordinator team also curated sessions based on the suggestions of the members, through Anvayaa Club– a virtual or physical interaction platform for elders to meet, bond with each other, share anecdotes, learn and pursue hobbies and enjoy with each other to fight loneliness and isolation and have a great time this festive season. According to Ms Lakshmi “We subscribed to the services of Anvayaa for our parents, who live in Mumbai, while we are settled in the US. The Care Managers are very helpful and ensure my parents get all the help they require for day-to-day activities, ensuring regular doctor visits and compliance with medicines.
It is a big relief as we can stay here without worrying about them. Last week, Anvayaa team took my parents for a trip to the Statue of Equality, a day outing, and a mall visit. My parents just could not stop talking about the grandeur of the place and the wonderful time they had at a place we have not been to. They also posted a lot of pictures of their trip. Anvayaa team has also helped them get familiar with zoom, and google meets and encourages them to actively participate in virtual activities by Anvayaa Club, which keeps them busy and happy. They now join us comfortably for the family calls every week, and we are very happy about it.”
Speaking about the services Mr. Prashanth Reddy, Founder, and Managing Director, Anvayaa Kin-Care Pvt Ltd said, “According to various surveys conducted by us to assess the needs of the elderly population, we identified that health care support is only 30% of help required. They need support for day-to-day activities besides companionship. Anvayaa means ‘Family’ and we have created a platform Anvayaa to take care of the elders like their family. Our team of trained Care companionship Managers and 24X7 Care Coordinators help provide the elders with the help and support required for daily activities, doctor visits, planning medication, and other important activities. We have devised various modules like ‘Anvayaa Club’ to help build a community for elders and conduct various virtual and in-person activities to help them be engaged and connected. The initiative ‘Golden Days’ was launched this festive season to bring a smile to the elders in our community and we hope to have achieved the same with the efforts of our team, who are extremely excited about the initiative.”
