City Police’s Narcotics Wings cracks the whip, and another peddler nabbed

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) along with the Amberpet Police apprehended a drug peddler, 50-year-old, Bharath Thukral, here on Tuesday.
The cops seized from the arrested passion 15 Gms of MDMA, a mobile phone, a four-wheeler (Skoda Octavia), and Rs 5 lakh cash.According to police, the accused Bharath Thukral is a resident of Madhura Nagar in Yousufguda. To make quick money, he developed contacts with an absconding Drug Supplier residing in Mumbai and started purchasing Psychotropic drugs from him and selling the same to needy consumers in the city. He frequently used to visit Mumbai city and purchase drugs i.e., MDMA and sell to needy customers at an exorbitant price of Rs. 10,000 per gram.
On credible information, when the drug peddler was trying to sell the drugs under Amberpet PS limits to drug consumers, the cops apprehended him.
Meanwhile, the City Police’s NEW has made fervent appeals to the youth, especially students, who got addicted to drugs and committed crimes, besides involving in several anti-social activities were advised to shun these bad vices. Ironically, several families have fallen a victim to this menace.
The City Police appeals to all responsible parents to keep an eye on their wads and feel free to approach them on the dedicated phone no. 8712661601 to put an end to the menace and make the City free from the drug menace.
The above operation was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of H-NEW, Chakravarthy Gummi, and Inspector C Venkat Ramulu, along with Inspector of Amberpet H Prabhakar and his staff.
