CM KCR alleges the Centre isdestroying democratic institutions

Telangana state chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has expressed his concern over the democratic institutions being under attack by the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
He held a press conference to express his displeasure over deteriorating situations across the country as the BJP is misusing all the central agencies like the ED, CBI, and others. His decision to hold a news conference soon after the polling was completed at the Munugodu, where his party nominee is locked in a contest against the BJP candidate Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who deserted the Congress to force by-poll. 


Even the Congress candidate Palvai Sravanti, daughter of the former six-time winner from the same constituency, the late Palvai Goverdhan Reddy, has also put up a stiff fight. He accused the BJP of indulging in a social blitz Krieg and circulating fake videos only to mislead and confuse the booths Blaming the Modi-led government at the Centre, which is bent upon indulging in destabilizing the democratically elected governments and so far the BJP leaders boast of already dislodged eight state governments headed by Opposition parties. He also alleged that the BJP is now determined to destabilize another four states, including his government.He claimed in the recent poaching of his four MLAs, the state police have completed the inquiry against three accused, which are now in judicial custody and the report has already been submitted to the state high court. “I have already sent the copies of the report to all state high courts, chief ministers, and media houses to expose the shameless act of the Modi government,” he explained.
He also released a video in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi purportedly claimed in one of his election campaignings during the recent West Bengal assembly polls “14 MLAs of Mamata didi are in touch with me to join the BJP.” He also disbursed the videos to media persons of the recorded video in the farmhouse to poach his four-party MLAs. “Can there be anything more disgusting than this? What more proof does one require to expose the power-hungry BJP, which is determined to neutralize the Opposition parties in the country?  If such acts are undemocratic and unconstitutional, then what else can be?” he asked.He also alleged that the Modi government has also not spared even the judiciary.


He said it is time to launch a JP-like the movement to stop the BJP-headed government at the Centre’s atrocities on Opposition parties and destroying the democratic institutions.   “I am humbly appeal to the Chief Justice of India to take cognizance of the video and his police report and reign in the BJP government as it is the responsibility of the judiciary to protect the Constitution and democracy in this country,” he made a fervent appeal. He also expects every state high court chief justices too take note of how the BJP government is destabilising democratically elected governments. He also sought the media support in his fight against the Modi government and restore democracy in the country.
