Converting TRS party into BRS damage aspirations of Telangana people : Niranjan

Hyderabad, Dec 21: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Senior Vice President G Niranjan on Wednesday said the conversion of TRS party into ‘Bharath Rashtra Samithi’ (BRS) by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will damage the aspirations of people of the state.
It is also a danger to the interests of Telangana state, Niranjan said at a press meet here.
The KCR’s family will do anything for their personal political ends at the expense of the interests of the state.
He said the people of the state voted TRS to power in 2014, though the Congress party granted statehood to Telangana as they felt that the Congress party being a National party may lean towards the newly formed Andhra state at the cost of Telangana interests.
They strongly felt the TRS is the only party which will fight for Telangana interests as it is a regional party.
The Chief Minister with his political ambitions to expand his purview, converted the TRS into BRS and may betray the people of Telangana at any time for his personal ends, he alleged.
Earlier KCR and his party men expressed their view as there is no need of Andhra parties in the state and they have nothing to do in Telangana.
Now how can he establish BRS party unit in Andhra?, he said there are already many problems and disputes between the two states.
The Senior Congress leader said KCR may compromise with the interests of Telangana people for existence in Andhra State.
The links of BRS MLC and Chairman Telangana Jagruthi K Kavitha have already been exposed and facing investigation in the Delhi Liquor Scam.
Is KCR formed this BRS to spread the liquor connections across the country to benefit his daughter?
Is all such illegal activities taking place under the guidance of Telangana Jagruthi headed by Kavitha?
The formation of BRS raised hopes in Telugu Desam Party National President and former AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and he began activities in Telangana and he organised a party meeting at Khammam today.
The people of Telangana will never forget the way in which Chandrababu Naidu blocked the formation of the new state after the announcement of Telangana formation process on December 9, 2009.
The TDP Chief started a new drama by saying that he is responsible for the development of Hyderabad.
Naidu managed through his henchmen and attended the 20th anniversary celebrations of IBM as a chief guest and tried to impress himself as a visionary for the development of Cyberabad.
The whole world praises former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi as the pioneer of communication development and for the use of cell phones in nook and corner of the country but the TDP Chief claimed himself responsible for this achievement.
The people of Telangana are well aware of mischievous intentions of KCR and Chandrababu and they will certainly teach a lesson to them in the next elections, Niranjan said.
