Earthquake of 3.6 magnitude strikes near Hyderabad in Telangana

Hyderabad, Dec 6 : An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale struck 87 km West-North-West of Hyderabad in Telangana on Tuesday. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the quake occurred at 3.23 pm. The quake was at a depth of five km. NCS tweeted ‘Earthquake of Magnitude:3.6, Occurred on 06-12-2022, 03:23:11 IST, Lat: 17.56 & Long: 77.68, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: 87 km WNW of Hyderabad, Telangana, However, there were no immediate reports of loss of life or property.
