Hyderabad : Black people fired on Telugu students in Chicago, America. In this incident, a student named Nandpu Devashish from Hyderabad died and a youth named Koppala Sai Charan was injured. Laxman from Visakhapatnam narrowly escaped the firing.As soon as the news of the shooting came to light, the Trustee of the Tana Foundation, Hema Kanur, who looks after Tana’s responsibilities in Chicago, closely monitored all the treatment arrangements for the victims. The parents of the affected students in India were informed about the situation there.According to his story.. Devashish, Saicharan and Laxman from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh came to Chicago to study higher education less than 10 days ago. All three are staying together after renting a room there. While the three were going to the nearby Walmart shopping mall to buy a router for internet connection, they were chased by some black men. Holding a big gun and another small gun, they threatened to give the phones. As a result, Telugu students put down their mobile phones. They asked for the PIN details to unlock them and gave them. Later they gave the money they had. The thugs who robbed the students… shot at them as they went. In this incident Devashish was seriously injured as the bullets hit the right side of his chest. Saicharan got injuries in his lungs. Lakshman managed to escape. However, the victims, who were already somewhat conscious, informed the police over the phone.
