Harish Rao highlights State’s initiatives for Dalit empowerment on Ambedkar Jayanti”

Siddipet: To commemorate the 132nd birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. BR Ambedkar, Ambedkar Jayanti Utsavam was organized under the auspices of District SC Development Department at Old Bus Stand Ambedkar Circle in Siddipet town on Friday.Tanniru Harish Rao, State Department of Finance, Health and Family Welfare minister, who attended the program as the chief guest, along with him District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil paid floral tributes to the statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar.
Minister Harish Rao’s comment in the meeting organized on this occasion is Chief Minister KCR felt that untouchability can be removed only through economic equality and education.That is why State Chief Minister KCR established Dalit Bandhu for economic equality of Dalits and Gurukula schools for educational development.With Ambedkar’s thought and foresight, India will go ahead as the largest democratic country in the world, regardless of caste and religion.State Chief Minister KCR is undertaking many schemes for the welfare and development of the Dalit race and tribals.
The education system in the state is running in accordance with the aspirations of Ambedkar who said that economic problems and social inequalities will be eliminated only through education.Residential educational institutions are historic.Chief Minister KCR has established 1000 residential educational institutions for SC, ST, BC and minorities in the state unlike anywhere else in the country.In Gurukula school, we are spending one lakh rupees per student per year.Gurukula educational institutions are struggling to compete with the competitive world.
All residential schools have been upgraded to intermediate so that education does not stop with class 10.And English medium was introduced in all educational institutions.50 SC Women’s Degree Residential Colleges have been set up for Dalit girls.PG and Law Residential Colleges have been set up for quality free education for SC, ST, BC and Minorities.Telangana Government will provide Rs 20 lakh grand under overseas scholarship scheme while previous governments have given loans through banks for higher education of Dalits.With the formation of new districts, administration became available to the people of lower classes.
There is no innovative scheme like Dalitbandhu anywhere in the country.CM is implementing very boldly.On both sides of the Secretariat, we have installed martyr’s Stupa and 125 feet Ambedkar statue which is the largest in the country.Statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar and Stupa of Martyr will inspire to inflame the constitutional spirit in the public representatives and officials.A statue of Ambedkar in Hyderabad is not a social revolution – a great inspiration for posterity,the raised hand of Ambedkar shows the responsibility of protecting the spirit and values of the Constitution to the officials and public representatives.
It is not just a shape but Telangana Sadhana Chaitanya stands as a lamp.The statue of Ambedkar is a symbol of contributing to the dreams of the people of Telangana.On friday the entire nation is looking forward to the unveiling of Ambedkar’s statue in Hyderabad.There is still backwardness, CM KCR tightened his waist to eliminate it.All programs in Siddipet are exemplary. Let us all work together for the development of Dalits and tribals.In Siddipet Constituency, 80 Cattle Hostels have been established by encouraging the establishment of dairy farms in 8 villages.We gave double bedroom houses to Dalits in Siddipet. We provide financial assistance to those who have their own land to build a house.After shifting the Collectorate to the newly constructed building as promised, we handed over the old Collectorate building to the Dalits and today handed over a check of Rs.1 crore.Government hospitals that provide medical services to poor people are better than corporate hospitals under Telangana state administration.District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil said that It’s not how long we live – it’s how well we live that matters.Reading the biography of Ambedkar will tell you many things.Next year, on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, we will organize an essay writing competition in a government school.On this occasion, self-employment subsidy was given to 300 Dalit beneficiaries by SC Corporation. Encouraged inter caste marriage.Overship scholarship grant of 20 lakh rupees was given to both of them.
