State Ministers T. Harish Rao and State Power Minister G. Jagadish Reddy inaugurated the dialysis center set up at Chautuppal Government Hospital on Tuesday. Ministers visited the patients undergoing treatment in the hospital.Speaking on this occasion, Minister T. Harish Rao said that our Telangana state is the only state that is providing medical services to dialysis patients by changing the filter for each patient through the single-use filter method. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin visited Telangana and after seeing the treatment provided by the Telangana government to the kidney patients, he said that the Telangana model will be implemented in the state of Tamil Nadu as well, and it is a matter of pride for us to start our policy in that state. Chief Minister KCR said that our Telangana state is the only state which is setting up dialysis centers on a large scale keeping kidney patients in mind, providing free bus passes to kidney patients and providing support pensions to dialysis patients. He said that so far 50 lakh dialysis sessions have been completed in the state. Before the formation of the state, there were only three dialysis centers in Osmania, Gandhi and Warangal MGM hospitals, today the number has increased to 102, Telangana state government is providing free dialysis services, the state government is spending 100 crores a year on dialysis centers, two or three times a week without burdening the poor people. He said that the Chief Minister has shown the love of a mother by providing free dialysis services and the CM stands by their families. He said that on the request of former MLA Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy, a dialysis center has been opened in Chautuppal today. He said that a palliative center that provides good treatment has also been set up in Chautuppal, providing food facilities to the attendants accompanying cancer patients and providing good treatment in the terminal stage. According to the words of the Chief Minister, Munugodu constituency will soon be sanctioned a hundred-bed hospital. He said that while the central government has sanctioned 157 medical colleges in the country, not a single one has been sanctioned to our state. He said that the credit of opening medical colleges in Ivyala Nalgonda and Suryapet belongs to our Chief Minister. He said that on the initiative of District Minister G. Jagadish Reddy, with the blessings of the Chief Minister, medical colleges have been started in Nalgonda and Suryapet, and PG seats have also been arranged. He said that a nursing college and a paramedical college are also being started in Suryapet and Nalgonda from this year. He said that they will also start BSc paramedical courses by identifying the courses that will provide job opportunities for the children in the paramedical college. He said that a modern hospital in Suryapet will soon be called for tenders and construction, similarly the work of Nalgonda Medical College is progressing very fast.
He said that land and buildings worth 500 crores were given for AIIMS, but even after four years, there is no emergency services, operation theater and blood bank facilities in AIIMS, seeing the condition of the medical students there, an opportunity was given in Bhuvanagiri government hospital. He said that if there were only three medical colleges in the united state, after the formation of Telangana state, 12 medical colleges were started under the leadership of the Chief Minister, and 8 more government medical colleges will be started next year. Telangana state has the highest number of mbbs seats in the country, Telangana state has 19 MBBS seats per lakh population, Telangana state is second in PG seats in the country and will achieve first place in the coming days. The leaders who created it are our Chief Minister, in the past they used to go to China, Russia and Ukraine to study the language and complete their MBBS after going through a lot of trouble, now they don’t need to go to any country, we are establishing 33 government medical colleges in 33 districts so that our children can study in our Telangana, this kind of remoteness. He said that measures are being taken to make medical education accessible to the poor people in the regions as well.
