INSA Fellowship to Dr Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, NAARM

Dr Cherukumalli Srinivasa Rao, Director, National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (ICAR-NAARM), Hyderabad received the prestigious INSA (Indian National Science Academy) Fellowship from the President of INSA at its 88th Anniversary General Meeting held at CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography Regional Centre, Visakhapatnam held during December 14-16, 2022 in recognition of his outstanding contributions in agricultural sciences esp. in the field of adaptation to climate change and approaches for contingency plans at district, regional and national levels to ensure sustainable agriculture. He is the recipient of several national and international awards including Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Award of ICAR for his outstanding contribution in the field of natural resource management. He is also Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) – the first Science Academy in India; and the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS). He represented India as the Global Climate Change Negotiator in UNFCCC CoP Meetings held at France, Germany and Spain. He is the Member of Executive Board of International Dryland Development Commission (IDDC), Egypt, Cairo and Member of Asian Long-Term Experimental Network for Agriculture (ALTENA), Japan.
