Inter-state cricket gang busted, recover Rs 12 L cash and four cell phones

Hyderabad: The city sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, along with Shahinayathgunj Police apprehended one online Cricket Betting Gang and seized Rs. 12,05,000, besides taking three into custody.
Forty-year-old Vikas Agarwal, a Business bookie. His two accomplices are Mahendra Patel (.36 yr) and Rajendra Patel (36)
are also businessmen and residents of the Goshamal area in the city, However, the other seven members of the gang are at large and they are Kanak, Ashwin Patel (Gujarath native), Sagar (Mumbai), Anil (a resident of Nagapur), Chetan (Nagpur), Karthik ( Maharashtra), and Prinsu (Raipur).
The prime accused Vikas Agarwal, who was in a financial crisis had hatched a plan to earn easy money by organizing Cricket Betting through online applications. He reportedly came in contact with Mahendra Patel and Rajendra Patel who joined him to organize online cricket betting for huge earnings to overcome their financial crises. The arrests were made by Sub-Inspector S. Raghavendra, and his same-rank colleagues K. Narsimulu, N. Srishylam, V. Narender, Shaik Buran & Staff.
