Bengaluru, Aug 18:Karnataka BJP in-charge Arun Singh on Thursday said party workers are happy owing to the inclusion of veteran leader BS Yediyurappa on the party’s Parliamentary board. He was replying to a question asked by reporters over the party workers’ protest following the murder of Praveen Nettaru.
”This is not an issue to be discussed here because not the party Karyakartas are very happy after BS Yediyurappa became the member of BJP’s highest decision-making body. This is the issue ” Arun Singh told reporters. He was asked about the party’s prospects in the next assembly election in the light of BJP Workers’ ire against the state BJP government for allegedly failing to protect Hindu karyakartas including Nettaru.
Nevertheless, the government has taken proactive measures in bringing the assailants to book and punishing them Singh said. Asked if Tediyurappa has been inducted to play big roles due to fears of the BJP not doing well in the forthcoming election in Karnataka Singh said it is not a fact because the BJP strongman has always been encouraging and guiding party workers. ”With his rich political experience his guidance is very crucial for the BJP to win elections ” he added.
He said Yediyurappa’s immense political experience will not only benefit Karnataka but also the entire Southern India. Singh said the party will take guidance from Yediyurappa and return to power with a thumping majority in the next assembly elections in Karnataka.”The party is marching ahead under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. In Karnataka we ye Will come With a thumping majority in the forthcoming assembly elections under the guidance and leadership of Tediyurappa (Basavaraj) Bommai and our party president ” he said.
Replying to a phone conversation of BJP Minister Jc Madhuswamy’s government dysfunctions remarks Singh said Congress has turned into a conspiracy party as it has been reduced to an issue-less and leaderless party
”The Congress definitely Will not succeed in its conspiracies like phone tapping and making false allegations. That is the mantra the Congress party has adopted. Definitely, they (Congress leaders) would not succeed in their conspiracies ” he said.
