Tirumala Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy here on Friday. They were received with traditional honors at the temple Mahadwaram by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman Y V Subba Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy. After Srivari Darshan, they were rendered vedasirvachanam’ at Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple complex. The TTD Chairman presented srivari theertha Prasadam to them.
TTD Executive Officer A V Dharma Reddy, CVSO Narasimha Kishore, and Temple Dy EO Ramesh Babu were present. After darshan, the Karnataka Chief Minister and Yediyurappa inspected the development works at the Karnataka Choultry Bhavan in Tirumala. Speaking on the occasion, Subba Reddy said after completing the Kalyana Mandapam and first block works, the TTD will hand over the building to the Karnataka government by January 2023. The Karnataka government had contributed 200 crores for the works. TTD board members Vishwanath Reddy, Karnataka Endowment Commissioner Kumari Rohini Sindhuri, and TTD Chief Engineer Nageswara Rao were present.
