Seer in judicial custody till September 14

Karnataka: The Chitradurga district court in Karnataka on Monday sent the chief pontiff of Murugha Mutt, Shivamurthy Sharanaru, to judicial custody till September 14 in a POCSO case against him. The Second Additional District and Sessions Court sent the seer to judicial custody after the police did not extend his custody. He was in police custody till Monday. Soon after the hearing, the seer was taken to the district jail. He was in police custody since September 2 after he was arrested and produced before the district judge B K Komal.
